EOS Ice Blue Review!

Hello!~

I'm back and I have numerous posts I need to put up. Lately I have gotten caught up in focusing more on my school work and now it's finals week and all I have left to do is to turn in my final essay and then I'm done! So, hopefully that'll mean more posts for you guys! I also have "A Look At" video for these lens here:

Some upcoming posts/videos:

  • Sephora Haul
  • "In a Hurry" Makeup
  • Daily SkincareRoutine
  • Announcement!

With that said, let's get on with the review!

So, I've previously done a review on the EOS Ice Grey lens. Since they are in the same line, I feel exactly the same for these ones as I did for the grey ones. If you haven't read my review on those ones, here is the link:

Just like the grey ones, I purchased these ones off of Maplelens.com

But unlike the grey version of these lenses, I do love the pigmentation of the blue ones much more. I feel like the pigmentation is natural enough for me to wear on an every day basis. As opposed to the grey ones which just looked black unless you were to look directly into the light source which is a no no for the eyes. The pigmentation is more of a true blue compared to the Geo Angel Blue lenses that I review when I first set up my blog.

Info:

Prescription: Left: 2.75, Right: 2.50

Diameter : 14.8mm
Water Content : 38%
Base Curve : 8.8mm
Life Span : 1 Year Disposal

In all honesty though, I love this series and it is very likely I will be getting other colors as well. I've had my eye on getting the green ones. The EOS Ice series is very thin so I feel like they're very comfortable. They also give you a cute teary eyed effect and with the right kind of makeup, make you look very innocent. I think the only down side is the water content which is only 38%. The water content pretty much determines how long the moisture will last when the lens is in your eye. Higher water content equals more moisture.

Rating (out of 5):

Comfort: 5
Like I stated above, these lenses are really thin which is why I thick they're really comfortable. But since they are so thin, you have to be careful when handling them especially if you have long nails. I have actually ripped a lens before.

Enlargement: 5
Since the diameter is 14.8 mm, I feel like that's a comfortable size for my eyes. Anything bigger is just too much, like the Geo Bambi lenses. I feel like anything that's 15 mm or bigger makes me look like an alien.

Pigmentation: 4
Since I do like my circle lenses to look more natural, I love the pigmentation of these lenses because they're more natural but you can still tell what color they are. If you want something more vibrant, I suggest you not to get these.

I'm sorry this review wasn't something you were probably expecting.

EOS Ice Grey Lens Review!

Hi guys!
I'm finally back with another circle lens review.
First off, I bought the EOS Ice Grey lens from Maplelens.com.

Well, on with the review!

Brand: EOS
Color: Grey
Diameter: 14.8mm
Water Content: 38%
Price on Maplelens: $18.90

Like always, I'm not being paid to do this review.

The day I ordered these lens from Maplelens.com, they had a special discount code for their anniversary. By entering that code I got 10% or 20% off. Of course whenever I order from Maplelens, I always choose expiated shipping. That's another $10, so the discount helped me save a bit of money.
The reason why I chose these lenses was because I've wanted these ever since I saw a video on YouTube by luvableviet (Shantea Mac) and they looked so pretty on her.

Picture Time!

Lens in the case
This time I got the yellow hippo. Sorry I forgot to take a picture of it. :(

Ratings:
  • Color: 9/10
    • I didn't give these lens a 10 because although I do like natural lens more, I still wanted the grey to show a little more. From far away under normal indoor lighting the lens look almost black. The color also blends with my natural color so they are still natural so I recommend them if you want natural lens.
  • Comfort: 10/10
    • As expected from EOS lens, these are so comfortable. When I wear them I can barely feel them in my eyes and you don't see the rim like the Geo Angel Blue lens that I had. They're very thin so I guess thats why I can barely feel them.
  • Enlargement: 10/10
    • For me, like I said I like natural lens so I don't mind if my circle lens don't enlarge my eyes too much. These are 14.8 in diameter so if you've tried the EOS Candy series, they're the exact same size. They do still enlarge your eyes enough that wearing them without makeup on look kind of funny. But they not too big so you can pass off with just wearing a bit of eyeliner and mascara.

These are my honest opinions about the lens. So the bottom line is, I think EOS is my favorite brand for circle lens instead of Geo. But Geo is still my second favorite. I'm very happy with my purchase and I don't regret buying these lens at all.
One last thing, I'm also going to post an "unboxing" video for these lens and a video to show how they look in my eyes on YouTube. Yes, I'm finally going to post something on my 2 year old YouTube channel. Hope this post was helpful to you in any way.

EOS Candy Brown Circle Lens Review

Here's another review of circle lens.
This time I did buy them from Maplelens.com instead.

*The reason why I posted three posts today is to make up for the fact that I've been gone for awhile plus, it's my birthday! :D *

Brand: EOS
Color: Brown
Diameter: 14.8mm

My whole experience with Maplelens.com is honestly better than PinkyParadise.
They are based in Malaysia so, I did get my contacts much faster and the amount I paid for these lenses were very understandable.

They usually ship 1-2 business days.
On Maplens.com these lens are $18.90 and on PinkyParadise.com they're $22.90. Neither of those prices include shipping.
They are on sale now for about $16. ;)

The only down side of Maplelens.com is that they don't carry much contacts that are prescribed. :(

Comparison; I know I look creepy...

What lenses come with

  • Color: 10/10
    • If you want something more natural you shouldn't get these lens. The color, as you see in the pictures, is very vibrant and unnatural. In any lighting they are noticeable. These lens do have a dolly or "fake" effect to them which is why I bought them.
  • Comfort: 10/10
    • When I'm wearing them, I don't feel them in my eyes at all. They are much thinner than my Geo Angel Blue lens. When i wear them I can't see the rim at all either.
  • Enlarging: 10/10
    • They are very enlarging compared to the Geo Angel Blue lens even though they're a bit bigger. I don't think I'm ever going to go bigger than these lens.
*I was not paid to review these lens or the Geo Angel Blue lens.*

If you're wondering what I'm wearing:
Eyebrows: Naked Basics Palette
Eyes: Naked Basics Palette, Left eye I have Almay one coat three effects mascara, Right eye I have Maybelline Volume Express mascara
Lips: Tokidokie Gelato tinted lip balm
Highlight: High Beam by Benefit

Hope you found this useful! :)

*All of my reviews are my honest opinion.*
